When it was unveiled last year, Research In Motion's first touch-screen smart phone, the Storm, got a few things right but was generally a chore to use. The latest version of the BlackBerry device, Storm2, is the one it should have released. (Nov. 11)
I have had 9 phones this year including the htc magic htc hero the storm 2 and bb curve 8900 and the e72 nokia and the vodafone h1 and the best of them all the BOLD 9700. The storm 2 is as much use as a non self filling testicle. Painful to text on and use. Get the Bold 9700 and enjoy life.

It's not that simple. The technology behind the screen in the storm 2 is way better. The storm 1, there is only one mechanical button behind the screen. On the storm 2 there is four 'electronic' buttons behind the screen that simulate a click. There is almost no lag when typing on the storm 2. While on the storm 1 (if you are a fast typer) you hav to wait for the screen to pop up before you can continue typing.

RIM could have changed the display screen from LCD to OLED and still keep it's device thickness and with the additional room left, the could have put in a more powerful battery inside. With those two adjustments, they would have a chance to blow iPhone away. I like the iPhone looks, but the battery REALLY SUCKS. My blackberry last longer and I can change the battery anytime I feel like it without getting hit in the head (cost).
