Head Smash Effect in Sony Vegas - Tutorial

Okay, to film this yourself, put the camera on a tripod and film your actor laying on the ground for a few seconds, after a few seconds, your actor should flinch. make a small, unnoticeable marking near where his/her head was resting on the ground and place a water melon there, or a balloon filled with fake blood and fleshy chunks (liquid latex, toilet paper, fake blood). Then film a new actor coming in with a bat or lead pipe or shovel and get him/her to smash the watermelon or whatever you used. Then follow the tutorial to create some head smashing goodness.

MAKE SURE YOU DON'T MOVE THE CAMERA!

hey man, I was just wondering....is all that is being smashed a watermelon, like will it explode that much if u just use the watermelon or is there fake blood too? i know this isnt ur original video but i was just checking if u knew

I believe that this was only a water melon used.

You can make some fake blood and inject it into the melon with a syringe or something, that may enhance the effect.
