Just showing off the swift I got from Paradise Fibers, called the Super Swift II which is made by them. Quick and easy to put together, easy to use, and reasonably priced. Also comes with a nice bag for storage and so you can take it along with you. If you are thinking about purchasing a swift, I recommend this one!

You can find the main page here:

OR, this link will take you directly to the swift:

  • I am seriously thinging about buying a ball winder but I do have one question about it. Will it hold a standard size skein of yarn? I use the Lion Brand Yarn "Homespun" a lot but I'm not sure if it will all fit.

  • @SoGoGal I haven't used anything as bulky as the LB Homespun so far. I do have some of that yarn floating around in my stash - I will see if I can pull it out later this evening and give it a whirl and let you know how it turns out!

  • @SoGoGal I got rather wordy with my reply regarding LB Homespun and the ball winder, so just posted on the blog about it. sapphiresnpurls.blogspot.com

  • Thanks again!

  • I have a knit picks ball winder and it won't hold all the yarn that I spin myself-if you can get a jumbo ball winder, you most likely will be more happy with it's versatility

  • OOOOP SORRY, just found you already spplied the info, lol

Really early in the morning lol.

  • Great Vid, Would mind sharing a website for the company you bought this from, they may post OS, I am from Aus and really not sure where I might find a simuliar one, reasonably priced. Thanks for sharing.
