  • BTW i tried this ultrabass vst and you cannot tweak a lot the bass, also it sounds a little cheap

its like alien303 but with more options.

Its hard to get a decent psybass out of it, (by decent i mean the like of system nipel-maximal)

I can create Compact records bass using a combination of wavetables filters and compressors.

Also i tweaked sylenth and that thing has a clean punchy sound, I made a decent bass out of it too.

  • @Chutzpah9

try adding quadrafuzz on that vst throught the inserts

and do some eq-ing and side-chain compression and it will sound like a legend

do you really think producers just make a bass preset and go on with it?

    the answer is no...

ultrabass is a good vsti it has very nice basses but pehaps it doesnt fit your needs

also good vsts for bass are cronnox,sylenth1,albino3 ..

  • Ever heard of a thing called "sampler" ;-)

  • @mockepeter and if you want to short the hi-hats or the claps and do a serious edit?, i guess a sampler will not have advanced settings like the cubase sample editor... ;)

  • @IsraeliTrancer

it does, more advanced than cubase in every aspect

  • @Chutzpah9

everything has an advantage and dis -advantage

sampler - good for organize samples & more comfortable >advantage

    DIS-advatage - RAPES CPU

cubase sample editor - has all the settings you need - comes with the daw easy to use

disatvantage - not very comfort (for some people) but for me its perfect

look dude everyone with their personal needs and techniques.

    I PREFER IT MY WAY...

  • Your Windows Theme's cool that you can upload??

  • @xszecstasy

yeah sylenth has an impressive sound.

it gives you a lot of material for shaping and cut

  • @Chutzpah9 Sylenth is the king :) + quadrafuzz ftw \o/

  • 2 dislikes are justin beiber fans

  • going to try that quadrafuzz thingy with sonique, maybe i will post the results, though this account is for other things.

I am not saying the plug sounds awful, but i think I can do better with others.

    Shalom and bring that trance.

    XD

And the best israeli producers are not like david guetta, they create their things, they like experimentation, but certainly they start following patterns, later they may choose another way that its best, but we choose our weapons. DD loves widerboy, spade loves to layer basses, white noise loves quadrafuzz, you love this plug.

In the end producers condition their brain, its not a preset, we find pleasure at creating basses, but we find repetition in workflow.

  • @IsraeliTrancer

quadrafuzz gives that saturation used in many basses prior 2006 (sesto sento remixer tracks 1 and 3, system nipel first album, misted muppets legend album)... its good advice man thx, but i found sonique very digital and quadrafuzz cannot save the day on that one, though im going to try quadra and see the results

I heard your tracks and certainly you have your style and your sound its not bad.

U can use anything you like, since in the end its your creation.
