The Ozarks have many hidden treasures. One from my childhood is Greer Spring, in northern Organ County, Missouri. It is a hike to get there, and that protects it from the casual tourist, but it is a little bit of heaven. The river is born from the mouth of a cave, then more than doubles when the second spring bubbles up 50 yards down stream. If you are like me, and enamored with cool, clear spring water, you will not regret the effort to get there.
