I need some help. On my Vyzex editor MIDI port in and out setup, I dont see the Akai MPK 25 three.I just see usb and 1 more other 'in/out', How can I make it say Akai MPK25. I did the (AutoSense) in option, but its still not three..
IMO the MPK49 / 25 has vastly superior keyboard action when compared to the Axiom, PLUS it is built well and doesn't feel like a cheap piece of plastic (Axiom). For a small-footprint softsynth controller et cetera I've used all the sub $1k units and this is the one that impresses me the most (you pick 25 / 49 depending on, well, what you need)
The mpk88 is supposed to have graded-weighted keys. So if you wanted something that actually feels like a piano as opposed to playing plastic, the 88 would be it.
If I didn't have my Yamaha KX8, I'd go with the MPK88 too
meh the 49 but to johnny i would have to pass on the 88, its just a 49 with more keys your better off getting a better quality midi controller thats 88 keys
