@moccamonster Why a mob of programmers haven't already ran up to his door already is beyond me? What the hell is wrong with the gaming community these days???
For God's sakes man, what are you doing here?! Go play Chrono Trigger!
Also, Mugen character usually don't take much time to create, when people know their stuff, that is. Plus, CapCom can't really sue anyone for making Ryu in MUGEN, considering there is usually no identification of the author, and I doubt any judge will really fine anyone for making a character in a freeware, add-less game. A fan project can always have some banners on it's site.
If you haven't played it yet, i can recommend buying the Orange Box, considering it's 2 years old, it won't cost you more then 20 bucks. Weird how stores still sell it though...
I knew it was probably still selling well, but that's what astounds me. It's a game from 2007, that somehow still manages to have good enough sales to warrant being on the shelves.

It's like that Chrono Trigger fan project, Square shut it down like a few months before it was finished. Goodbye, hard work.

But in this case, Valve/Black Mesa FTW.
And what you said about Mugen does make sense.
Now I have to play Half-Life 2 one of these days....
