Concrete Cowboy - Rally Song for Fair Taxes

This tune tells the story of a cowboy going to Washington to find out what makes this country run. He wants to understand why Congress is raising taxes to share Americas bills. However, he is quickly disappointed that voters have little to say about how poorly their hard-earned money is being handled. The government continues to pile up debt with their wasteful spending and socialist agenda.

With the current economic crisis and dwindling job market, Americans need a song that will rally their spirit. Everyone should recognize that drastic changes are desperately needed in our current congressional representation in favor of leaders who will enact a fair tax resolution to abolish the IRS. Otherwise, our children and grand-children will face a social and economic disaster worse than the Great Depression.

As the cowboy says, "The taxes ain't fair and they don't care. We don't have more money and they think it's funny. We are going to rebel and it's time to tell, we ain't going to take it no more!"

What do you think criticizing big government and unfair taxes has to do with religion? Our country is going to be bankrupt because of the excessive spending & bailout with money we have to borrow from foreign countries. The middle class will be overly burdened with supporting this socialist agenda and control. Fair taxes puts the cost squarely on those who spend money, including the growing number of illegal immigrants and the wealthy. It takes the power from the politicians & abolishes the IRS

You shouldn't mix politics with religion. I am a Christian, and I am glad health care was passed. I have health care with my employment and nothing is going to change for me or anyone else currently covered. It is the middle class people that are not covered that this health care bill is helping. No one is going to dictate what kind of health insurance I have. I am amazed at people who are angry about helping others. To me, that is not Christian-like. I have lost no freedoms.

@74vedder I have insurance through my company as well and in 2011 it will be considered taxable income. My HR department sent that out the week after the bill was passed. Do not speak for all Christians. In my opinion, your judgement of others' beliefs is not Christian-like. Do not judge, lest ye be judged.
