2003 Toyota Sequoia Door Handle Removal -
I made this video in order to help out other Toyota Sequoia owners who've had, or will, remove their front doors. In my case, I had to replace the 2 front speakers... which by the way, is a WHOLE different video in itself.

Anyways, this video will illustrate the most difficult part about removing your front door. If you have any questions or you think the YouTube community could benefit from an entire door trim removal/installation, let me know.

Talk to you soon,
Rich

  • Wow! I can't believe people still watch this video. I'm glad that I could help. If I'd know how popular this video was going to be, I would've recorded it again.

Oh, well! It still gets the job done.

    Thanks for the wonderful comments.

  • Thank you so much. Because of you I was able to remove the handle safely without breaking it. I spent 2 hours trying to remove it and after watching your video, it took me less than 10 seconds. THANKSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • Thanks! What a time and money saver. After someone else told me that they replaced their car's handle this way, but for a different make and model. I called the toyota dealer service, they repeatedly insisted that it cannot be done without removing the door panel. And it will cost $130.00 just for labor.

  • Thanks! I just watched this video after trying to remove mine. Actually stopped and watched this first, and I'm sure you just saved me a broken handle moulding! Thanks again!

  • By the way it is the same process for the tundra as well!!

  • I really appreciate. Videos like this thank you so much for the info!

    thanks!!

  • If you're ever in Perth Australia remind me that I owe you a beer. I spent twenty minutes trying to remove that shroud and then had a mechanic friend spend another twenty minutes trying to remove it (he all of a sudden had to leave). Next I find your video on youtube and its all done in 2 minutes. Thanks for your time in producing this video. Saved me time and money cheers

  • Excellent. Thanks!
