As one of the fire fighters that attended whittlesea/kinglake area on Black Saturday... It is still hard for me to go in to the areas and watching this sent shivers all over my body and a tear to my eye... My Heart will always go out to those who lost loved ones.

Me & my wife live in a rural area in Tasmania not that unlike the Kinglake area.
makes you realise just how easily this could happen ANYWHERE with those sort of extreme weather conditions.
I really dont get why idiots set fires , Kevin Rudd got it so right when he said it was mass murder.

So Many lives lost, for such. Words escape me as to the thoughts that these people who set the fires must think. My heart is with those that have lost loved ones, family, friends. And to the firefighters that have put their lives on line to help. It is a huge ask to expect people to put their life on the line for property, a bigger one for lives, yet they do it... without any thought, or thanks. My ultimate respect goes to them.....
