Ah, this is my favorite song in all of the Touhou songs (yer' opinion may differ).
It's so awesome that whenever I start battling her in Perfect Cherry Blossom, I concentrate, but then I start whistling to the tune and before I know it, I'm at my last life, and then. . . I die T^T . . .

enjoy your last moment of Yuyuko being the elegant princess as we know her. The next Yuyuko is just a really cute gluttonous vacuum.

Anyone here agrees that this is the best boss fight in Touhou?
The theme song + the spellcards, colours and epicness of the final boss is just perfect.

Yuyuko has a pretty nice green pencil...but that red dot is REALLY annoying me off.

I remember the first time I beat Perfect Cherry Blossom. Died about 20 bajillion times before, Last Continue, finally got past 80% Resurrection, and then I find out you cant get the good ending after continuing. FUN TIMES

@HirosamaNadasaki "Unbeknownst to her" I says. Anyway, this discussion is quite useless after all seeing as you can put pros and cons for whom should have one of those themes anyway. And ZUN was most likely drunk, so who are we to question.

@DizzyArt92 actually she doesn't know what she's resurrecting when she breaks the saigyou ayakashi seal, so she's not actually trying to resurrect her right? Besides, Necro = dead and Yuyuko is dead, Fantasia = fantasy and lots of glowing magical butterflies and laser lights quite remember a fantasy

Considering how she's actually right between life and death during this battle, I don't see how this can't be fitting. She's trying to ressurect herself after all, unbeknownst to her.
But I do agree, Yukari being the border Youkai and all.

I like how the song is building up from slow and epic to a ''this is it!''-feeling (1:43 and till 1:57)
Oh god the epicness from desperate bomb spamming to survive at the ''this is it!''- feeling. Just for that feeling I will go through the hellish levels and bosses to just get that feeling, that makes Touhou just so awesome the feeling the music gives to you when playing it, god I can write a books about all feelings from every stage and character...
