Top 10 NES Games #7: Tetris (Nintendo)

In this video, I change my mind about Tengen Tetris.

REVIEW:

In my original video I said Tengen Tetris was superior, but perhaps to fan's dismay, I have changed my mind. Tengen Tetris is cool, but it isn't nearly as polished as this verison and the control is extremely awkward, which makes it hard to play. But enough about that. Let's get on to the review. You have 2 modes: A and B. Pretty complicated, right? Anyway, so if you choose A, you get to choose the speed in which the tetriminos fall, and that's it. Choose B on the other hand, and you're handicapped with randomly placed blocks, how many is your choice. Of course then you choose the speed. So the hardest way to play is level 9, type B, height 5. Anyway, so besides those add-ons, it's Tetris, and great at that. 3 awesome songs, colors change when you get to the next level, awesome beeping sound effects, good stuff. Really good stuff. This one needs to be on the Virtual Console, it's one of the greatest versions of Tetris.
