Japan und Deutschland haben ja eine nunmehr 150jährige Geschichte der Zusammenarbeit, die beiden Länder waren sich immer recht nah. Außerdem fasziniert die Japaner glaube ich das "martialische" in der deutschen Geschichte, das fängt schon mit Frakturschrift an, die auch gern in Anime verwendet wird. Japan hat z.B. auch eine gigantische Rammstein-Fanbase ^^

I think it's because the Japanese are fascinated by German culture / history. For whatever reason ^^
