I had seen this macabre beauty at the Kanata Cruise last September but here was a good look at it, and next to two other '37 Buicks, quite a diorama!

  • That Car gives me the Heebie Jeebies** LOL How did they do that "Drape-Work" I thought it was a Large Glass with Drapes inside* but i was fooled... Crazy Car*

  • I love the drape sides. My first car ever, (at age 151/2) was a 1940 LaSalle hearse. My 3rd car was a 1941 Buick ambulance. 50 cars later I now have a 1957 Caddalac ambulance. It sure doesn't look any near as nice.

  • The Death Mobile !!!! 420

  • I don't have to do anything haha!

  • I agree about the '37 but you have to admit that the '47 is just as nice looking!

  • Awesome Hearse ! Must be worth quite a lot of dollars ! It's a work of art !

  • The '37 is probably Buick's most admired car ever as far as styling goes. Its Art-Deco hood line set a design standard. The similar-looking '38 was actually a different front end shell, had different suspension, and was not as attractive as the '37. This hearse was likely built on the largest Buick body--the series "90 Limited." Buick provided the chassis with front sheet metal and fenders; the coach builder did the rest.

  • very sad car
