  • Timeless...Brill Jon

  • @fatpizzaman Yep, and every show would start with the late, great Raymond Baxter intoning about something that wasn't possible to do "until now".

The original and best theme tune, a really memorable melody and what a brilliantly complex last few bars - just try to hum along from 3.22!

  • Tomorrow's World was one of my favourite programmes as a kid. It was every British kid's ritual on Thursday nights to watch this show followed by "Top Of The Pops". A shame that there aren't shows like these anymore. :-(

  • It's been a great one for JD! What a legacy....

Thei tune here, if iremember correctly is called "That's that and That's All" but I might be wrong.

Truely one od Brittains great jazzmen.

A momment of silence is in order....

  • I hoped I'd find this here, thanks for sharing this! I have it on an old cassette of BBC themes and always remember how exciting it was to hear the whole thing, rather than only the initial half minute. RIP Sir John.

@White1Snow1Bunny, it has no other title, just Tomorrow's World.

  • Fine piece of work ain't it ?! RIP Mr D.

  • Such a marvellous piece..pity they don't write theme tunes like that any more! Thanks for posting

  • Thank you for the music my sympathies to Cleo and the family

  • Thanks for this a great tune and nice big band version.

Does it have a title or is it just tommorow's world?

    A British legend

  • Thankyou for sharing this
