Donnunaki - Hallow's Eve Massacre Tribute

I am but one person but I can still play my role in raising the consciousness and awareness of my people (and humanity in general) regarding the plight of my people. This track is dedicated to the Assyrians who were brutally murdered in what I call the Hallow's Eve Massacre in Baghdad, Iraq (10/31/2010). Genocide can only be dealt with if the global community recognizes *all* genocides. Ours is one of many...and the persecution still continues.

how does that gonna help you at the present time, but rather educate yourself and your people so that one day you can go back to iraq and make it a better place for living for its people).. Education is power (formal education) and without it you can do nothing to your homeland

@diaski205 Furthermore, your view of a multi-diverse community of christians is skewed. What you are doing is mixing ethnic groups with religious sects. The people you refer to as Assyrians (Nestorians), Chaldeans, and Syriacs are all one ethnic group - Assyrian. Check your facts. Finally, you bring up the ancients (Babylonians, Sumerians, etc.). All those titles were modern designations to Assyrians by modern archaeologists, who named peoples of the world as "city-states," a western concept.

What are talking about!! Iraq has a multi diverse community of christians (Assyrians/Chaldeans/ Syriac/ Armenians and many more)...all these minorities are being prosecuted based on their christian religion and they have lived in Iraq for hundreds of years. Therefore, they are from Iraq and their religion is Christianity..I understand sometimes we try to avoid saying the word "iraqi" as it is related to islam (or to avoid rejection by western communities since it is a war region),

@diaski205 This will be my last reply to you as we can go back and forth - on and on for days. The fact of the matter is that my video is a tribute to the ASSYRIAN people being killed in Iraq. Our language is Assyrian (Ashuri). And the study of knowledge related to our people is Assyriology. We are recognized as that in academia and on the global level. You will never be able to change that. The sooner you can accept it, the better. If you don't like it, don't watch my video.

@diaski205 Please check my posts...no one said muslims are bad. I am actually an advocate for the recognition of the genocide against all "Iraqis" in general - one which has caused the death of over 1 million people since the beginning of the Gulf War. This number does not even include the amount of people who died as a result of the Iran-Iraq War of the 80's, propogated by the US. However, as I said earlier...you have your view and I mine. but this is totally a misconception since Iraq has many religions/ethnicities living in it for centuries. Plus, not all muslims are bad, only extremists/terrorists. Instead of trying to offend iraqis "If you are a Christian from Iraq and there is no Assyria, why are you "a proud" try to educate people about Iraq and its minorities.....You can't always refer to history (or say ohh we are assyrians, babylonians, sumerians...etc we are from the cradle of civilization)

I have to overcome my emotions and correct you "Muslim Iraqis are not killing Iraqi christians, but muslim extremists/ terrorists are killing them" be specific in your words...Not all muslims are bad..I ve had many friends who are muslims and they were deeply saddened by the killing of christians in Iraq..they are people like you and I..some good some bad. Therefore, we should not accuse muslim iraqis. This is not what Christianity is all about...jesus is love

@diaski205 If you are a Christian from Iraq and there is no Assyria, why are you "a proud

Iraqi first and an Assyrian second?" Why not just a Proud Iraqi which you are

certainly entitled to call yourself? If you admit that you are somehow Assyrian even as

second, then I would suggest you check out your facts, make up your mind and

enjoy your life as you wish without trying to offend others. In other words,

feel free to be what you wish and let others be what they want....
