In 2010, NCAA Division III power Muskingum fought through some growing pains, but still managed to qualify for OAC tournament play for a record 26th consecutive season.
Led by the bat of junior all-american Mary Margaret Boda, the Lady Muskies maintained their tradition of excellence and laid the groundwork for another memorable run in 2011.
Last year marked the final season for the late Donna Newberry. The legendary head coach is the winningest coach in D-III history with 906 victories over a career that spanned 36 years. Newberry lost her long battle with cancer in November of 2010.
Former Muskingum all-american catcher and assistant coach Kari Hoying takes over the nationally respected program in 2011.
