Can't wait till Fall Semester 2010. Just got my acceptance letter today! What a wonderful journey this will be!

@NDTeariki04 its not a "great school" its an overpriced average school. But yes, no matter where you go it depends on the person and how hard they want to work at it. If you want 120,000-180,000 in student loan debits after you are done then this is a great choice.

Talk to a current flying pilot at the airlines today, and get the real story. Remember, flight schools mainly want your money. Who wants to start life with a $100,000 - $200,000 debt, all to get a flying job starting out at appr. $17,000/yr. (Recently a passenger told me his son has a $250,000 debt now from ERAU) The cost will be more when the new FAA requirements are presented.
Talk to the ones (airline pilots) doing the job, not the salespeople who need your money to keep them afloat.

@rappinCheese Airlines wont even bat an eye at you till you have 1,000 hours and atleast 100 Multi Engine. Majors? You have ten years with the regionals until the majors give you call. 99% of the Aviation graduates end up being instructors there because it is their only way to build flight time. Trust me, they are not there because of they enjoy teaching, they are there because they want that airline job too. The only problem is they arent getting hired. Even as riddle Alumni..Save your money!

@gurjot15 u said this 1 year ago... how is it now? is it worth the time and money? or go to cheaper flight school?
OK, I'm 6 feet 6 inches tall, and weigh 250 pounds. My all out dream is to be an airline pilot. Would I be tall/big for the training aircraft? Would I be able to get accepted? Thanks

@JordanBellow5 Follow your dreams...and remember the major airlines hire more alumni from Embry-Riddle than from any other collegiate aviation program. You are right on track! :)
