Joe's POV

Myself and Carson were outside sunbathing. There was a commotion happening indoors between Nick and Riley, but I had more important things to deal with.

"So, you go back to California in a couple days." I said, casually.
"Yeah. Back to Cali." Carson sighed.
"I'm gonna miss you." I stated.
"I know you will." she laughed.
"I won't be there for your birthday either." I moaned.

I was becoming frustrated with myself. We had only been dating a few days and I was already letting her down.

"It's ok Joe. I knew what it would be like dating a Jonas. We'll celebrate when you get back." she suggested.
"But the thing is, it shouldn't have to be ok. It should be amazing!" I whined.
"Joe, chill. I never do much for my birthday anyway." she said, trying to reason with me. "Just a sleepover with Hayley and Riley. You won't be missing anything." she assured me.
"Well, when I finish the tour, you will have a birthday that you will never forget." I smiled. Then I threw in an evil laugh for effect which caused Carson to burst into laughter.

Next thing I knew Riley was on her back with Nick standing above her. She seemed angry, or was she scared. Then Nick poured some ice onto her. Ahh, now that was anger. I burst into spontaneous laughter once again, joined by Carson and Nick. Riley was far from laughter, but she swore she'd have her revenge.

Kevin's POV

This had to be the worst morning of my life. I woke up and Hayley was already packed and ready to leave. Why was she in such a rush? She was in the living room nibbling on a piece of toast. I walked past her groggily and helped myself to a glass of water. This would be a long day.

"Are you nearly ready Kevin?" she asked.
"Why the rush?" I asked back.
"I don't want to miss the plane. I have some stuff to take care of back in Jersey aswell." she stated.

What would she need to take care of in Jersey?

"Is this about last night?" I asked, concerned.
"Kevin! Please, just get ready. I don't want to talk about it." she instructed.
"Okay." I agreed.

I trailed into the bedroom, more confused than ever. I quickly dressed and threw my clothes inside a suitcase. I took one last look at the room and helped Hayley with her bags into the elevator.

"So, we're going home huh?" I said, trying to sound cheerful yet sorrowful at the same time.
"Yeah. Back to reality." she sighed.
"What's gotton into you lately?" I asked.

She froze. She kept her eyes down while answering me.

"I'm just nervous about flying, that's all." she lied.

I knew she was lying. But why, was a better question! We had always being so honest, now she was blatantly ignoring my questions. We walked outside into the blazing sun. I deffinetly wouldn't miss that. I loaded the cab with our luggage and we headed for the airport. The car ride was silent. I couldn't figure out what could have possibley happened within the space of 5 freakin' minutes. She went into the bathroom totally smitten. She returns like a totally different person. I didn't want to mention it, but I was pretty scared. What had happened to Hayley. The girl I loved.

"Hayley, somethings wrong. Please tell me." I begged.
"I don't want to talk about." she said.
"You have to tell me. I'm worried about you."
"Don't be." she snapped.

Then the cab pulled up outside the airport. Hayley shot out of the car quickly and I was left to retrieve the luggage. I wheeled it inside on a trolley and we quickly checked in. The airport was quiet and our flight was ready as soon as we got there. We boarded in silence and when we sat down Hayley turned away from me.

"Babe, what's wrong?" I pleaded.
"Kevin! Drop it! Nothing is wrong, your just making it worse." she yelled.

Everyone on the plane glanced in our direction and I sunk low into my seat. It was embarrassing being yelled at, but I had no idea what was going on. The rest of the plane ride was continued in silence and Hayley didn't look nervous about flying. She actually fell asleep 5 minutes into the flight, and I was left to think about what could have ruined our holiday.

Did she regret having sex? That was possible, but she was fine the morning after. Did she not enjoy it? That was highly possible, I had no idea what I was doing. Had I accidentally insulted her? Girls are always holding that against us. Did I call her fat? Ugly? I would never say that. Argh! This makes no sense. I just wish she would tell me instead of hiding it from me. She sucked at acting and I could see right through her. Maybe she would tell Riley or Carson and they could help me out.
