Hundreds of Europeans convert to Islam each year, many of them drawn, in particular, to the mystical sect of Sufism. At a Sufi cultural festival in the Moroccan city of Fez, AFPTV caught up with several of them, including slam poet and singer Abd el-Malik.

You cannot be a sufi unless you are a Muslim because sufism is the inner, mystical dimension of Islam. So not sure what "ism" these people are embracing.

To Be a real sufism you have to be muslim first, then you have to be practisoner of islam, then you have to be very very cultured about islam.
