If a corporation, like Walmart, makes billions of dollars, taxpayers should not be billed for their employees benefits.

  • Many companies offer health care for part time works. It's well known Walmart keeps the majority if it's workers just a little short of full time to deny them a real living wage and benefits.

  • I'm a Republican and I don't shop at Cooperate Greed Stores (i.e. anything Walton Family owned,) here's why,

    1. Taxpayers ended up paying for Employee Unions, healthcare, and later a bailout so they can give company executives bonuses.

    2. CHINA! It's always has to be 95% of the products they sell "Made in China." and not encouraging other companies who make the production create jobs in America, if that were to happen, unemployment would've been less than 7%.

    3. They ALL donated to Obama in '08.

  • This is a perfect argument against government-run health care.

  • it's so annoying how many people don't know about wal-mart or how they do know and still go there

  • How about not supporting govt run insurance in the first place instead of seeking more ill-conceived govt controll :D

  • Stop your complaining. I'm self-employed and guess what.. I pay 100% of my own health insurance. Stop looking for a handout.

  • 1 tiny problem, the majority of Wal-Mart's workers are part-time retail workers and are not eligible for health benefits. Supervisors/Management, truck drivers, mechanics, Opticians and corporate headquarters workers all qualify health coverage as well as many full-time workers
