It all makes sense now. This was the guy who planted the bombs in Tower Two and at the Pentagon. He was linked by a second marriage to the CIA guy on the grassy knoll, and this whole fake news conference is just cold war blow-back from our support of OBL during the years we supported him in Afganistan...see I told you it all made sense.

The why would Michael Chertoff apologizing? Why would he say it was one of the most ridiculous things he'd seen in his service in government. The real press wasn't give ample opportunity to get there. Seriously. If it was legit, WHY THE F**K WOULD STAFFERS ASK SCRIPTED PRESS-LIKE QUESTIONS? If it was on the up & up he'd just make a statement and not take phony questions.
