Goddamn it. Heroic Spirit Diamuid Ua Duidhne deserved more than this. Robbed of his duel with Saber, having unwanted attention from his master's woman, and dying due to the same reasons again. Oh, the irony.

But his curse before his death sure worked. None had the Grail. And no one's wish is ever granted. Only Calamity was bestowed to Fuyuki City at the end of this bloody Grail War.

Cú Chulainn was a Hero, he defended his vulnerable kingdom singlehandedly against an Invading Army while the citizens were under a sleeping curse.

Diarmuid Ua Duibhne, was Cursed with a seducing love spot, but he was still a Knight and a Hero who refused to fight his own kin even as they were hunting him.

The Lancers Tales are always a Great, and a Good Read :)

Cu Challain's great and all but Diarmuid's a real hero and a knight for that matter, though i'm not spear type of guy but he's the best lancer i've ever seen so far and honorable too... It's not his fault that women fall for him even though they're married or engaged... He's just too dangerously sexy...

It's really all the more sad because, as a prequel, you know everyone is fated to fail. Kariya won't save Sakura, Alexander won't convince Saber that her dreams are foolish, Kiritsugu won't save the world or even his daughter, and Shirou will inherit the naive dreams that cost his father everything. Oh, and Gil won't marry Saber(!). Tragedies abound.

For 6th grail war (if there ever is one or any of the past), they could have Cu Chulain and Diarmuid fused together and have EX or A+ on every skill they have but....
