  • I can't believe that Noam Chomsky, a professor of Linguistics is considered an expert on world affairs.

  • I, Too, was once a leftist and believed all this. Leftists believe that the Middle East is violent and backward because of the West, as if these countries are mere puppets and can't make decisions on their own.

  • @ChaneyBrinkmanBurlin Being "intelligent" means nothing if your conclusions are wrong.

  • He's a professor of linguistics and philosophy, and he's infinitely more intelligent than Hanson.

  • "i just wana kill people normaly" that was kinda funny :D

  • @noobler9 I did like how he dodged that last question though by inserting his own interpretation to the girl's unanswered question, instead of being bluntly honest about invasive retaliatory assassination

  • @noobler9 this isn't to say we can't publicly shame theocrats for their incompetency or even go to war but that we should be honest and embrace the fact that communication will win this conflict not bombs, which will only give respite, progress is not inevitable so we must help democrats in discourse at least as much or more than by dealing death, ideas trump initial armaments as long as absolute deterrence exists with believable sympathy exists

  • fairly sensible but misses the fact that these conflicts are based on ideologies that are mostly in conflict outside of direct warfare thus the way to win is through DEMONSTRATIVE missionary works of peace, prosperity

  • @danbagheri Do you speak Ancient Greek and Latin? No? Yeah, that's what I thought.

  • @danbagheri Saying the "Palestinians" are the native inhabitants of the Levant is like saying that the Dutch were the natives of Pennsylvania.

  • @thaglund1

on second thought, even a stupid redneck like you deserves a clear cut example of americentricism right out of this video to help your tiny brain process it easily. when the idiot professor speaks of the palestinians in kuwait, he is blatantly lying about the fact that they were removed with the free will of the kuwaiti regime that he confesses the ameritard gov't has so-called re-instituted and uses this as an example of perceived grievances changing rapidly. suck on that, tommy.

  • @hicaleb

yes, really. are all of you americans this dumb ?
