@Mitchx42 both arts go straight to the point, look, there´s something in latinamerica that we call "jogo bonito" that means something like "beauty play", is what gives the art the beauty, kosen judo is more robot-like. Kosen judo represent the correct and educated japanese people, BJJ represent the brazilian blood, the dancing-like moves.
kosen judo was a style practices in japan´s highschools, nothing to do with bjj, the brazilian art is much more fluid, kosen judo judo is more "stiffier"(i can´t find the correct word to express it)
@BloodofPatriots If it werent for the Gracies openly teaching Jiujitsu, non of us here would have a chance to learn it. Do you think Japanese would so openly teach it to everyone who wishes to learn?
Yeah I did Google it. And Kosen Judo was described as a "style of Judo" on wiki. so I thought it may be something totally different then 'normal' Judo.
Brazilians created the ju jutsu and other big invention of them was the Christianity!

@juicespirit You do know who taught Helio Gracie, right? Mitsuyo Maeda... on orders to spread Judo from Jigoru Kano himself.
