Gastric Bypass Pre-Op Blog 3-7-08

My first video blog talking about my upcoming surgery. Apologize for the video angles, I was holding the camera myself. But here is a little about myself I'm 24, from Phoenix, AZ and I've been overweight since the age of 4. I've seen myself go up and go down in weight over the years. I've dieted and lost weight, but only to put it back on, plus more. I've seen my obesity produce sleep apnea and diabetes and I don't want to see it cause more problems. I've made the major decision to undergo weight loss surgery. It's not easy and its not a quick fix, but it needs to be done. I'm journaling my journey in video form after purchasing a small Flip camera. I want to offer support to those who seek it, just as I was seeking support when I first started. I am still early in my journey, I am pre-op but I'll be updating it as I get closer to surgery and God willing after surgery. Hi just viewed your videos and I have to say that the insurance company sure did put you through alot, I am going to attend a seminar about baritric surgery next tuesday. I sure hope I dont run into insurance problems. Keep up the good work, I use people like you to keep me going toward success. Thank you.
