  • Arthur Scargill says it as it is. He's a working class hero and so were all those brave miners and their families who fought for jobs, family, community in contrast to Thatcher and her government who tried to tell us there was no such thing as society, that personal advancement and greed were all that what important and that we were not our brothers' keeper.

    Keep up the fight.

  • WELL SAID!

  • Socialists cry “Power to the people”, and raise the clenched fist as they say it. We all know what they really mean—power over people, power to the State.

  • My point is that his method of leadership, and the effects it had on his followers were similar... Ie. they believed him even when he was talking bollocks...

  • @JREwingofDallasTexas is that the best you can do lol.

  • Anybody actually taken a moment or two to observe the way he actually delivers a speech. Lot's of hand gesturing, and his voice builds to a crescendo. Now who else do I know of who spoke like that... oh yes HITLER. you know he was considered a person of the people by his followers. ;)

  • Arthur a true people persons. Respect to Arthur Scargill! <3

  • @crazyboyxx The business owner pays the worker to produce the goods, then the worker pays the money back to the owner to buy the goods he has already worked to produce. The owner sells at triple the monetary value he originally paid to the worker to produce the goods. The business owner accumulates wealth on the back of the worker while the worker feeds him, clothes him and sustains him. Capitalism is an immoral system.

  • @crazyboyxx You are completely ignorant about Socialism. Both the worker and the consumer are one and the same. Both use their earnings to pay for the goods they have already worked to produce. Its a convenient little con trick on the working class.

  • @crazyboyxx Workers elect representatives to act in their interest and can be removed by the power of the ballot if they falter or become corrupt. It's the complete opposite of the model of corporate organisation by tyrannical dictatorship. Capitalism obviously favours the dictatorship model with no rights, privileges or powers for workers whatsoever.

  • @crazyboyxx Under Capitalism corporations work on the dictatorship model from top down. It's a tyrannical system that doesn't exist under Socialism. The Russian and Chinese models are perversions or the Marxist doctrine. Democracy flourishes under Socialism because power is devolved to the lowest common denominator.
