Is Kosher a legitimate quality standard, or is it a Jewish tax on food? As long as non jews don't know of this and buy kosher food unknowingly, it acts as a tax towards non-jews.

Can GMO food be Kosher ? Canadian politicians refused to vote to force Monsanto to mark it's products "GMO" but they are for Kosher... Jews run the show, that's about it.

@pasadenagene in fact most consumers DONT see it...thats the point. Legally they have to put some kind of marking on the package...but its done in such a way as to make it as obscure as possible.

Organic food is just the opposite--the packaging literally SCREAMS out "organic"...they want eveybody to know about it....and they spell it out..o-r-g-a-n-i-c. No secret symbology for them!

No matter how many times the "kosher tax" thing is proven not to exist you still get someone breathlessly informing the public about this "unfair" situation. They can't explain in what way they have been damaged or why it's different from any of the other expenses in food manufacture including unions agitating for bigger benefits or the truckers paying for expenses in states you don't live in.

It's pure hate no matter how you look at it.
