@asgeir961 Okay, then compress the video file to "uncompressed" on Adobe After Effects and download virtualdub. With virtualdub compress the video to H.264.

Yes i have done that but it doesn't seem to work with Adobe After Effects.

@asgeir961 Google x264vfw and download it from some site. That's it.

@fnub I think i know what happened. Premiere thinks that mpeg is an audio file. perhaps if you name it mp2 or mpg2 it will work. But it could be a computer issue, try using a different program.

You say this clip is about 100 megs, but how big was the source clip? And is there much loss in quality from the source?

source was 145 meg, and there was virtually no loss in quality.

Pretty big. Just over 100 meg If I remeber correctly.
