............NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! , remember the dude in the immaculate 3 piece white suit opening the door in the atrium at the last Big Sight event? ok, and you also remember the dude with the Biggles-type flying helmet fronting the Strikebreakers on the live stage, you do? then of course you remember London around 20 years ago ? and you remember the cult underground band Christian Death? and their Japanese bass player Kota? you do?, good ! now get your arse over to Design Festa Gallery East for Mac Romance's ( as he is now known) Art of Romance? anti-conceptual, anti-commercial lounge! as Mac explained to me earlier " we're doing this with no pretensions, no approach and most importantly with no expectations, and the thing is, we don't charge!
everyone is welcome to drop by, chill out, snack out(good pasta says Miki) chat, watch tv, play guitar or whatever they'd like to do" that's right, free beer, visitors to the lounge can throw a tip, coin or note into a jar IF they feel like it. this project starts today, every Sat & Sun for the next three weeks and Mac is ambiently assisted by DJ's Bluesnik
and little Mac-Kuma on their vintage Columbia Decks. expect nothing , enjoy everything!

i, too, shaved my head a while ago! such a freeing feeling, and this vid captures it completely -- that sense of SHAVIng away the old you. like a snake sheds its skin so too must we shed ourselves every once in a while.
