Actually, John said those were Roger's gold records he destroyed. They were apparently from his first solo album. Or at least that's what Jeff Stein, the director of the movie said. He walked over after they were done filming the scene, and said "Gee, I'm sorry we destroyed all your gold albums for the scene", and John said "They were Roger's, actually!".
