I believe in "truth in travel" and today was brutal. There is a wind (similar to mistral) called the "Tramontana" (a cold, dry wind) that accelerates to over 45 mph. Impossible to cross passes ("cols") and we were almost blown off the mountains. Seriously!

We had never heard of the Tramontana wind before and if you haven't, now you know it's a force to be reckoned with. Glad to be alive in Llanca.
