Vanessa Atler on floor at the 2000 US Gymnastics Championships. I wish she kept the leap after her double layout punch front but I think it was too hard on her ankle. Still a great routine though.

  • FWIW, Vanessa has said she doesn't know why the jump after the double layout-punch front got taken out when she moved to WOGA. She said maybe it was so that her routine would look different from what she was doing with the Rybackis but she doesn't remember an actual reason (via her "From Gymnast to Coach" blog).

  • @bbhouk1 its called 'two guitars' incase you wondered, a piece of traditional gypsy music

  • I love the way she runs.... on her toes with SO much impulsion
