That is a tillandsia medusea if I can see it correctly. It likes bright filtered light. It does not like to stay wet because it rots easily. Loves humitidy. It forms beautiful exotic clumbs.
Hi, I have a Tillandsia cyanea. I bought it after the purple flowers were in bloom. I noticed 4 offshoots at the base - so I teased them off, applied root hormone and planted them in tiny pots.

I've read that once they've flowered they offset and the part that has flowered dies.
