  • On my cougar there is a intermediate resonator where the two pipes come into one that was removed and i have 2 $20 ricer fart cans, actually sounds nice, and a cut out in the back before the mufflers for at the track, I didnt like the sound with the turbos out back on mine.

Just confused everyone says take off the 3 cats. My 94 has 4. Dont touch the primary ones but the secondary ones you can. The secondary o2 sensors between cat 1 and 2 will mess up if you remove the primarys

  • @thwakkazahg thax for the tip

  • Is your resonator still in place?

  • @backyarddoall yes

  • I am gonna get that dynomax system for my tbird. I have true duals right now with flowmaster 1 chamber mufflers and its loud and drones at highway speeds. I want my car quieter because the droning is getting to me now. Did you notice any gain in performance with it? Is it noticable from the inside when you go wide open throttle?

  • i noticed a gain all thur the whole power band more in the low end

  • if that is a dynomax super turbo with the "s" shape thru it.....i was thinking of putting them on my '95 4.6....but i agree with u a little to quiet for me.....not a mean tone but a real clean one....thx for doing the clip, big info for me.....check out my clip on "dan30cal".....i'm running no mufflers............

  • try two chamber flow masters i like the sound of them but its up to you

  • dude i had those for a day and got rid of them. biggest waste of money ever. now i have straight pipes. yours sounds just like stock. so did mine. take off that dumb resonator. it sounds awesome now. but its up to you.

  • I have the system on my 97 t-bird and I like the sound, fit, and look but they're built like crap. In the three years I've had the system, both of my mufflers rusted through and it's not a road salt issue since they rusted from the inside out. Luckily, the mufflers have a lifetime warrantee and they (dynomax/walker) sent me new ones with no hassle. Now I know why many call it "Dynocrap"

  • I almost got the dynomax system for my 95' t-bird but instead I decided to run striaght pipes, sounds a lot better that way. Later down the road I want to do a true dual setup with long tube headers.

  • remove all 3 cats and it will sound mean with that setup u got
