@OPL21stJS welp the reason she was in the trash was becuz when Ms. Hibiya's (the manger of the building) husband (the scientist guy in the photo she had) died, she threw away Chi to get rid of the painful memory. Remember how he was in love with Chi's twin Freya? Thats why.

@OPL21stJS In the manga it explained why Chi was in the trash, but I don't want to spoil anything, so I will tell you to go read the manga, it is worth it. The anime was very short in comparison.

I actually had tears running down my Cheeks when I watched this.
This truly was a very Powerful AMV and possibly one of the most inspirational. Whether it be to seek out your own true love, make a manga like this of your own, or even just give you the idea to make someone else smile, you've certainly drawn out the reason to keep viewing and keep on going in life!
