Your comment, "this isnt bellydance" isn't criticism. It is a blanket statement of your opinion. All I asked for is a reason for your statement. You say it is "cold" to you. Okay, I accept that. But don't attack my knowledge of art. I apologize for the "narrow-minded" comment, but not for pointing out that your comment had nothing to back it up.

Just because you're Egyptian doesn't make you an expert.

I have danced all my life too. And Ansuya has roots in ME culture tho' born in the U.S.

if u knew anything about art you would know that if u cant handle the criticism, then ur in the wrong business...also, if u knew anything about art, u would also know that just because somebody doesnt see things the way YOU do doesnt mean they are stupid or wrong.

i habe been bellydancing since i came out of my mother...egyptians women are like that. this dancing to me is creepy and is totally off from what REAL bellydance is. its americanized and is cold to me.
