Jack Grisham, singer for T.S.O.L., reads from and talks about his new book, "An American Demon: a memoir". It was a 2.5 hour in-store, this is just one of the many stories! Check out "part 2" too!

  • this store has such rad vinyls! glad I came out from Vegas to check it out yesterday!

  • Back in the 90's... I was a teenager & when Jack was with the Joykiller, they were touring with Pennywise, and I was hanging around outside the club (the Mad Monk in Wilmington, NC)...

Jack, clad in a kilt, came outside and gave me & my buddies a handful of backstage passes. That night we witnessed the best punk show we'd ever seen, plus got to meet the bands. Thanks Jack for the early inspiration. Cheers!

  • this is like the story of my life. broke parents spawning surfboard and gun hungry punks breaking into buildings homes and cars to have fun and get there gear.

  • @jackloydgrisham were you in corporate avenger?

  • @jackloydgrisham lofl you said you were arrested before, come on now jack. maybe you didn't do any real time but being arrested = yes.

  • read the book. I never did any 'time' at all, as if 'doing time' was something to be proud of. Getting arrested means you got caught--read the book

  • @deadbirdsings i think he's been arrested a shit load of times, just for nothing big time like this story, so it's not like he's some softy. he's done some time. so have some other guys in the band from what i remember. I really don't think they're the soft types. they all grew up in long beach fighting their way up. I remember a story about Ron their guitar player knocking out some kickboxer with one punch. probably one of the bigger hardcore bands in size. all well over 6'2. thugs basically

  • @deadbirdsings he was 6'5 and probably would have made even the hardest his bitch. either that or he would have been involved in all the gambling and shit. when you're nuts you get away with a lot more and gain friends. jack has always been good at that.

  • Lucky thing for him that he never did any hard time, or he really would have found out what being a punk was all about. A pretty face like that would've fetched at least 3 packs of cancer sticks behind bars.

  • Did he say" blunderpuss"?
