It's all about breath control and allowing the sound to resonate in the right areas. You resonate too much in the nose - remember your mouth is a resonator too - try disperse the air flow through both the nose and mouth - not just the nose.

@littlebones92 NEVER sing from your throat. I wouldn't give advice like that. Singing from your throat can cause damage. The sound must resonate in the head and mouth.

People do their own versions of famous songs all the time, but don't try to fool people into thinking that it's the original artist. You have a decent voice and had the courage to record yourself singing a great song, and post it on YouTube, so take the credit for it! Don't post this as Amy Grant singing, cuz it's not.

I just wanted to listen to some Christmas songs with my family and I must say this was nice. I wouldn´t have the spunk to upload one single song even though we all love singing, but I highly respect you for your courage! Singing is a fun, enjoyable and relaxing recreation, so go on doing it, it will surely keep you from dying of heart failure early on in life! :)

This woman should be reported to you tube for doing this! This is a desperate plea for attention by using Amy Grant's name to deceive her fans! This is wrong! And it's a shame, because I like this singer's rendition, but she should do the right thing--take this post down--and sing to this music, using her own name! BobbyK
