Nokia N86 (and N97) vs E75 vs N95 8GB Browser speed test

Comparing the browser load speeds of the Nokia N86 versus Nokia E75 and Nokia N95 8GB. Also shows the Nokia N97. This video demonstrates the performance improvements in the new version of the S60 browser. It's between two and four times quicker (depending on the site), which make the N86's browser speed comparable to the iPhone 3GS and Palm Pre.

Just a note to say that, despite what I said in the video, the N86 does have a slightly different CPU to the E75. They are both single chip ARM 11, but the N86 is clocked and 434 Mhz, where as the E75 is 369 Mhz. The point remains that the majority of the improvement is through software not hardware. They are the same generation processor

Interesting. I love stuff like this. The N86 is just so butt ugly and cheap looking. I wonder how my N82 would fare.
