  • We used the 15mm lens for wide angle and the 100mm for macro.

  • @maczkus MUCH thanks! Sweet video btw...

  • @H20Spy If you want to shoot videos underwater go for 5d - it performs better at high iso - 1600 videos have no noise visible. To take split pictures go for dome port (round), the best is 8", flat is not good for these kind of photos.

  • Just curious,

If one was to choose the 5DMKII over the 7D for diving stills & video, ... what reasons might they be?

I have both models and I'm considering a Aquatica housing for one or the other.

8 fps is not all that important to me. I think the only time I'd find a use for it would be when shooting stills of split level (above and below) water shots. I have an Essex surf housing with a flat port in which I could use with the 7D ... is a rounded port better for those "Split" shots?

  • Hi! great quality. just wanted to ask what housing kit you used?

  • Using a "Magic Filter" for your vid? Any feedback on the use of these filters would be appreciated.

    TIA,

    The Meltdownman

  • beautiful video & music, thnk you!
