careful on the turbo, stock internals can only hold up to like 7 psi max. so if ur gonna seriously boost it get forged rods and lower compression pistons for more boost. and im sure u already know u have to get a stronger fuel pump and bigger injectors. but, 420a engines make very good all motor engines. they r strong with some work. myself, i am going to get a stage one camshaft, 10.5:1 pistons, forged rods, upgrade the valvetrain, and boost it like 10-15 lbs.

yea ur ford taurus with 60hp less than a taurs SHO gets a 0-60 in 1 second faster than a SHO....makes sense

@4g63jojo Please... choke on your food tonight for making a comment on something you know nothing about. You can NOT swap the 4g63 motor into a 420a eclipse. It will NOT work. The motors are mirror images of each other, you'd have to change everything about the front end, and most likely have to hack a gst front end to your gs. It's retarded. A properly built 420a can make decent power, just build the internals, get the fuel right, get megasquirt, wideband o2, and THEN put a turbo kit on it.

for every1 out there with 420A engine.........i still got love for all you but plz pull the 420 and swap in the 4g63........u can make as much power with a stock 4g63 as u can with forged everything in ur 420A...im not hatin im just lookin out for all u 420 DSMers ...

shifting too much, a gs can go 60 in 2nd gear. still takes about 12 seconds. but it gets there haha
