A couple of things that might have a great deal to help these folks out. Cal earth is working with mostly super poor victims of catastrophe. They are very happy to share there information with all, and they have built some awesome shelters that can be as crude or as posh as you find stuff to decorate with. Also I found papercrete , a product made from basically paper and portland cement 50/50. There are also all kinds of stuff you can throw in for different applications. I can fix things!
To CAN-DO, Eric, Peter and all the people at Crow Creek: John S. Malcom Elementary (Laguna Niguel, CA) was thrilled to be a part of the seed collection. The 700 students enjoyed helping Crow Creek to be able to plant, grow, and eat the fruits of their labor. Peter, Eric, please let us know what else we can do to help. *Hugs* from SoCal ... Connie xo
Thank you CAN-DO, tribal members, and thank you Peter. It first takes a vision before action. Then to maintain community involvement. You had this vision, many ppl praise you for this, many ppl criticize you for this, But wherever there's a revolution, there's a resistance. We keep going. So stay strong to that vision. I'm in Seattle but I try to do what I can here, by distributing these videos on facebook, myspace, or just my network of friends. Keep it up.
