The Cat 769D is 40 ton, the old B's were 35 ton.
I've run both. The box on the D's are wider than the B series. And a bit longer to.

ha! i do the same thing! I like driving 85s. we have all the same equiptment where i work.. were getting some 792's at the end of the month. there are also komatsu 1500-7s where i work but they are pretty annoying to operate.
