@W00LFY100 Your not misinformed, however not all electricity is generated using coal. Many places use hydro, geothermal, solar(some), and other methods. Even when it is coal powered it is more efficient to generate electricity by coal, transport it to the bike(power grid) and use it there then it is to burn gasoline so there is still a net benefit. This is in any case simply a showcase of technology since electric doesn't yet have the capacity to fully replace gas.
@W00LFY100 here we get 25% of our power from windmills, and soon the tidal turbins go online and we'll get more free clean energy....so why can't these bykes run on that power....I think you are wrong to an extent!
W00LFY100, might it be a bit simpler to just make the electricity with the nuclear power plants and run the bikes with that energy:oP (unless that's what you mean by your vague statement)
once again unless I am misinformed the electricity powering these bikes is made in power stations burning coal which still releases CO2. nuclear is the way forward, maybe in the next few hundred years there will be nuclear bikes then it will be a proper ECO ENDURO!
Premium, just buy some solar panels and charge it off the sun. green bro lol
