I understand Lincoln is well regarded by Americans today but that doesn't say much. Lincoln radically changed the definition of our Republic for the absolute worst. He ruled as a virtual dictator, setting all of the awful precedents that we're living with today ie The Patriot Act, Military Commissions Act, preemptive war, secret prisons, wire tapping, censorship of media and spying on our phone calls. Read "The Real Lincoln," written by an Austrian Economist like Paul. It lays it out nicely

Thank you, I was about to say the same thing. Lincoln was no lover of Liberty. Just ask the over 13,000 political prisoners he kept without habeus corpus during his war of aggression on the South. I'm not talking about POWs either, I'm talking about northern newspaper editors, mayors, city councilmen, peace activists, or anyone else who objected to the war or Lincoln's policies. He even tried to arrest the Chief Justice of the United States for ruling that he violated the Constitution.
Great video except for the Lincoln quote at the end. I wish Paul supporters would understand that Lincoln did more to destroy the Constitution than any other president in history until Woodrow Wilson. Lincoln was a tyrant who disregarded and saw the Constitution as an inconvenient obstacle in the pursuit of his centralizing, mercantilistic agenda.
Please guys, do your research and only quote men who actually revered the Constitution like Dr Paul, not despots like Lincoln

Lincoln to this day is still regarded as one of our best presidents. He was a common man who understand What it took to build a great Country. I agree his views on Liberty were nothing of Dr. Paul's. Lincoln was smart enough to see, if we did lose our freedom it was because we let it happen. Thanks for the feed back its always welcome and I hope people do educate themselves after reading your comment!
