This video was shot over the course of 8 mornings in front of the Royal Mile/ Downtown Pantry, downtown Des Moines, IA. We only had 1 camera to use but wanted to shoot a video that looked like it was shot with multiple cameras all in one continuous take. The process included shooting each of the dance sequences up to 50 - 75 times each from different angles to obtain continuity. The moving track shots were achieved by attaching the camera onto a mini skateboard and rolling it along a wooden board. The sidewalk was open during the filming process so pedestrians could walk through the shot at any time so one of the big challenges was waiting until the sidewalk was clear to get a clean take.
