@elementalchemy, Actually Colonel Strong Vincent of Erie, PA (my hometown) commanded the brigade in which Chamberlain and his 20th Maine Volunteers were a part. Vincent was mortally wounded while conducting a dogged defense on Little Round Top and died seven days later. The Brigade consisted of the 83rd PA,44th NY,20th ME, and 16th MI. ~Gary

David, Did the park have access to Little Round Top closed to the public? Either way the view is incredible. If ever you are back out this way again I'd make the trip down to show you around. It's my home away from home. ~Gary

David, I forgot to mention Lord Nelson's gallery in Gettysburg. While other Gettysburg galleries focus on Civil War subjects Lord Nelson's focus is on Eastern Frontier art by the likes of Buxton and Griffing among others. ~Gary
