Nikon D90 Test #2

Nikon D90 & Sigma 120-300 2.8 at Castle Combe Circuit, Wiltshire, UK.

Full 300mm used, unfortunately forgot my tripod (and to switch the sound recording on) so I had to balance the camera on a fence post...excuse the odd angle!

Try the new Eos 5 mk2. I had one on trial from Canon, knocks spots off the Nikon. Don't think they are out till Dec.

It costs three times the price of the Nikon D90, so not really aiming at the same market!

This was at the full 300mm yes, I forgot my tripod so had to balance it all on a fence post (and the 120-300 isn't exactly light!)

Will certainly get some proper footage in the next couple of weeks, when I go back and remember all of my kit!

I think the fps are really good there, I tought itd be alot jumpier, good to know its fluid!!

Agreed, it is a different market looking at the prices. But fps has never been an issue for myself, though it does take a little more skill in the hand of the operator if the fps is little slower than most. Try a little more accuracy than quantity.

I agree with ukaskew, not aiming for same market. Also, how could canon knocks sport off the nikon while it has slower FPS than d300 or d700?
