  • @messi996 "if he is real" then he gave you you life and everything you ever thought was good. It's nothing for Him to raise the dead and give them a life in paradise. If you like pain, suffering & death, take your chances. Me, I love life so I'll upgrade to a better longer one. Nobody would want to miss out on that. I knew Santa was fake my whole life without anyone telling me just like I knew God is real.

  • @Dfheight You have to understand my point of view however, its like santa claus, parents tell them, children he is real, they believe it without any doubt until told otherwise, thats how i feel about god, and personally if he is real, the one who has chosen people, who killed the first born of an either civilization for one mans wrong doing, the one who order genocide, id take my chances in hell

  • @SuperSlyFox89 i grew up in a very religious country in a very religious town, thought in a school with very religious teachers, i know what the bible says, and i also know that all these prophecies are very general, for example the best known prophecies of all time are nostradamus`s, but if like me you read them carefully, you would understand they are very general, and can relate to nearly any point in history, thus people can easily claim they are coming true

  • @TheLeoOfCostaRica The two most important comandments in the bible state love each other and do to others as you want others to do unto you. If this alone was followed the world would be an amazing place. Where do you find this hate teaching in the bible or am I (Christian) talking to another "religion" now? I know Muslims want to kill everyone else perhaps you speak of them?

  • @TheLeoOfCostaRica Give an example of what something you think is wrong in the bible. It is one very complex and confusing book, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

  • @messi996 The only "Logical" answer would be to take historic events which have actually come to pass which are mentioned in the bible and compare the two. Also look at the prophecies which are coming true or have come true. You really need to look into it and do your research if you want to find anything. I am a christian and you asked a good and valid question. If you believe in it just because you were told to you are just as ignorant as the next idiot believing in whatever.

  • @messi996 I've considered all things made known to me and I have a solid foundation with the Source of all truth, who's presence I've felt as long as I can remember. That Source has not only answered my every prayer but has provided a perfect plan for the redemption of mankind. If you can't grasp righteousness by faith, do you really want the proof by the Holy God coming down to this wicked place? Who are we to test Him?

  • @Dfheight just hear me out for a second at look at this logically with no bias, if i said to you that i believe that the world will end at the 21st on dec of this year, provide no proof but that some old guys 2000 years ago said so, and then said you cant say its bs because you cant prove its wrong, would you state it is fact(ofc on the 21st this will be proven wrong more then liekyl). Ofc you wouldnt, then how can you call the bible fact, when its nearly the same thing

  • @scottbob103

Not at all, actually. I never said I became an atheist because I think the Bible preaches the wrong message (Which, don't get me wrong, I think it does).

I became an "atheist" because, one day, I just stopped believing in god. Nothing more. I don't have any problem with people believing an a higher power, at all. Actually, it even does some good to their mental well-being, some times.

My problem is with the Bible and what it preaches, not the people it preaches to.

  • @TheLeoOfCostaRica So you became an athiest because the Bible preaches "hate." So if the Bible said what you felt comfortable with you'd still believe in God? I don't understand.
